CRY TO THE SKY
By the time Cry To The Sky was recorded The Tommy Morrison Band was formed and Ed Stasium, most famous for his work with The Ramones, arrived from New York to produce the album. It took a little over a week to record at Sarm East Studios in London. At the time Tommy was living at Keepers Cottage, near Guildford, Surrey with his wife Barbara and two goats, six dogs and a duck.
To promote this album a support tour with the Pretenders was arranged. Unfortunately, at the last minute, two of the band found they could not do the tour and UB40 did it instead ( and never looked back) This triggered the end of the band and Tommy returned to the North East
